So while it's not raining here, it's snowing and blowing and we're stir crazy! My boys have decided that anywhere we go is a great place run like crazy men, yell at the top of their lungs, and announce to the entire universe they need to "Pee in Potty!" (Hunter is doing a stellar job with his potty training-he loves the toilet-seriously loves it. He'll sit on it forever- to the point of driving me crazy forever. Henry likes it about every other day- today not so much) Needless to say, trips out have turned into more stress than they're worth. It seems by 9am I'm wondering how we will ever survive the remaining nine hours until Daddy comes home.
Yesterday as I was upstairs gathering laundry, Hunter and Henry were playing in the basement, and Hunter began his now favorite yell, "Mom, Mom, MOm, MOm, MOM, MOM, MOM..." It drives me crazy that he doesn't even wait for me to answer in between "Moms", but he just wanted me to come see what he and Henry had built.
As I came back down the stairs and saw how proud they were of all their hard work, I couldn't help but be proud of them too. Sometimes they fight like crazy, but sometimes they really pull it together and cooperate. I am constantly grateful they have each other; now I can say I wouldn't want it any other way.
Tonight they campaigned to keep our double stroller that I felt they were too big for and even posted on craigslist. They ate dinner in it and watched 30 minutes of Max and Ruby ( a new favorite for all but Jordan in our house), so it must be worth keeping.
We're not sure why Hunter chose to make his monkey face for the picture, but we're not sure of the reasoning behind most of what the boys do lately. I can't wait to see what they'll come up with for tomorrow.

I'm so glad for a new post! I cannot believe how big these boys are--I hardly recognize them. It's sad that they would probably feel the same way about Lance and I.
Hang in there--spring IS coming soon--I can feel it. It has to, because we are going crazy in our house, too!
I am laughing so hard right now!

We live in Pocatello (that's where my husband is from)- we'll probably be here forever, so when you get back maybe we'll see ya around. Sounds like you have had all kinds of fun adventures. Don't you just love school, grad school, residencies? fun stuff. Your kids are so cute! We're having a Riviera Reunion in June if you want to just stop on by, since Rexburg is only, oh, 2000 miles away or so. :)
I love this post! Your boys are so great! They definitely keep life exciting for you I am sure. Spring is coming and soon you they will get to play outside all day. I am glad that you are happy they are so close together now. It will be nice for them to have such a close friend.
